A Simple, Yet Proven Way to Improve Yourself Confidence
I truly believe that everyone wants to be a confident person in some capacity. Maybe it is in business where you want to attract more customers. Or maybe you just want to feel good about being yourself. No matter what your goal is this article will show you a proven way to improve your confidence right away!
Before I share with you my confidence improving strategies lets share some common psychological shortcomings that all human beings have:
1. People are more worried about what others think of them compared to what they think of themselves.
I am sure you have felt this way. Maybe it was a zit on your forehead or a stain on your shirt, either way you are worried that others will notice. As you go on with your day you quickly realize that no one even notices! Matter of fact, you even forget about it after a while! Again, people are more concerned with what other thinking more than what they think of themselves.
2. 95% of people cannot handle rejection!
The vast majority of people cannot handle rejection in any capacity. They are not willing to make themselves open up to the opinions of others; therefore they always remain in their comfort zone. Never to truly experience life.
3. Not understanding how to "make" you feel good.
Do you remember a time that you felt really good? It almost felt like you could do no wrong? Everything that was happening in that moment was perfect as a direct result of your action? I think we can all remember a time like this…Maybe it was when you met your significant other or just had a great conversation with friends. What this is called is being in a "state." Most people do not know how to make them operate in a "state" of mind that makes them feel good. It is critical to learn how to make yourself feel good without any external events.
People who have developed strong self-confidence have over come all these things! Buy books and listen to self-improvement material to learn the basics of developing confidence. While you are gaining new information and perspective about developing self-confidence, I have two activities you can do that are proven to improve you confidence right away:
1. Look yourself in the mirror and smile 20 minutes a day.
A study was done at Yale about treating depression. What the study found was people who smile at themselves in a mirror 20 minutes a day had the same effort as medication!
2. Walk for 30 minutes a day
Being active is one of the best ways to improve your confidence it gives you time to reflect on yourself.
Armed with your new information about improve your confidence, you will surely be able to improve the way you feel right away!
